Kenya's boda-boda taxis
Part of East African culture, boda-boda taxis are an economical form of transportation that started back in the 1960s and 70s as a means of transporting people across no-man's land at the Kenyan / Ugandan border without vehicle paperwork. The bicycle owners would shout out boda-boda [border-to-border] to potential customers.

That is awesome. As a seasoned bicycle traveler I always love to see the way bikes become part of local culture.
