African gold

With the Olympics in full swing there is talk of gold everywhere.

A precious metal and colour, gold is associated with wealth and prosperity, and in the case of the Olympics, the outstanding and the best.

In Africa the metal gold has been used for centuries by kings and royalty to craft royal regalia to wear and also intriguing symbolic objects.

Whilst in interiors, the colour gold creates a bold atmosphere of opulence and indulgence, or as some may say, glitz and glamour!
