I was shot in Joburg

I spent last weekend in Johannesburg, the first stop on my two week sourcing and inspiration trip of South Africa.

Along with some amazing new finds for the Safari Store, I discovered the incredible photographic initiative "I was shot in Joburg".

Back in 2009, a photography course with street children lead to the creation of an unique photographic exhibition documenting their immediate environment of Johannesburg.

Now a permanent project, the children continue to grow their photographic skills whilst generating an income.
